Owing to a recent aquisition, this exciting role has arisen. Excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a progressive business currently based in West Malling though will be moving to new offices in Grays/West Thurrock next summer.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will be responsible for providing financial information to the board, supporting budget holders and assisting with the regulatory returns.
Role highlights include;
* Preparing full set of monthly management accounts including P&L, cashflow, balance sheet
* Assisting with budget preparation
* Allocating payments
* Journals
* Occassional assistance with VAT & Regulatory returns
* Adhoc work as and when required
As an independent business, much of the accounting in prepared on Excel therefore candidates must be confident with Excel to an advanced level (pivots/sum if/look ups).
Successful candidates must have current working knowledge of preparing a full set of management accounts and be either formally qualified or part qualified but actively working towards qualifcation. It is also expected that candidates are well presented and enjoy working in a professional office environment.
