We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our Global Brands team who will work in a pivotal role and provide support in the development of G's International product range through the provision of a robust supply chain service to our Worldwide customer base. The successful implementation of Global Brands & International Strategy to both new and developing countries is key to our success; this role will play an integral part in the sales process ensuring that orders are delivered to customers on time by managing the processing of orders, liaising with the supply chain, freight forwarders and other key stakeholders. What are the responsibilities of the Global Brands Operations Manager (Supply Chain)? Manage all aspects of the supply chain - Demand planning - Inventory control - Forecasting - Import costing - Regulatory requirements / certificates Financial reporting - Cost of shipping & handling - Continuous improvement around freight and handling - Period reporting of all associated costs & plans to improve - Develop customer commercials that meet margin requirements Stakeholder communication - Work with all stakeholders to ensure full supply levels - Develop as required in-country operational models - Work with UK & Local ops teams to create best practice - Personally take on commercial responsibility for a development market - Be active in bringing functions together to ensure success - Packaging management - Own the packaging stocks at UK & other locations - Work to forecast models Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related technical field and CIPS Membership (desirable) - Operational Understanding of Supply Chain management, ideally in the Food manufacturing sector with experience of working with international suppliers or customers - Demonstrable import/export experience with good understanding of local laws/customs - Commercial awareness / sales and marketing - Excellent communication and influencing skills. - Planning and organising - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Project Management qualification (desirable)
