Equinix Global Customer Process team are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team to work on global projects. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for driving Finance related initiatives with the objective of increasing customer satisfaction, reducing customer queries and improving internal efficiency. This is an opportunity to gain cross functional exposure through workshop delivery with global subject matter experts, as well as identifying and executing changes to better support Equinix customers and scale the business.

The team are looking for a service driven, analytically minded individual with experience in gathering business requirements, defining and executing change initiatives. Solid experience within Finance and system knowledge in Billing and/or Credit and Collections (Oracle) are essential. The individual will pride themselves on their investigation skills, ability to decipher issues, identify root causes and resolutions for these. Communication skills are key as the Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting and running workshops, liaising with international stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities: Problem Solving/Assessment
• Determines and applies appropriate methodologies and tools for analysing a range of issues
• Identifies process gaps and issues, assesses impact of manual workarounds
• Determines and utilizes appropriate methodology including Lean Six Sigma where appropriate
Responsibilities: Project Management
• Leads smaller projects and resources, executing using appropriate tools and techniques
• Ensures resources are in the right place at the right time
• Works with stakeholders to gain alignment through implementation and post-implementation
• Communicates team progress, creates scope, project charter and stakeholder analysis
• Applies appropriate project management skills and best practices including Lean Six Sigma
• Identifies and manages risks and issues, performs cost benefit analysis and monitoring

• Updates process and procedural documentation
• Completes post deployment analysis, monitoring and control
• Assesses post project benefits and success
• Status reporting providing periodic project updates, highlighting risks, issues and concerns

• Assesses priority based on fit to agreed organizational criteria
• Recommends alternative solutions, escalating to more senior members
• Participates in cross functional discussions to drive issues, challenges and prioritization efforts

Responsibilities: Business Requirements, Functional Design and Process Design
• Obtains, creates and documents business requirements engaging multiple stakeholders
• Creates BRDs and manages cross-functional and cross-regional reviews of low/medium complexity
• Works with the BSA's and Dev team on solution design and development
• Assesses solutions from multiple angles
• Reviews functional design, working closely with BSAs and DEV teams to ensure solution meets requirements
• Partners with stakeholders to analyse, define and document processes within and across functional areas
• Utilizes Lean Six Sigma methodology; may design or improve business processes

• Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions
• Identifies and proactively includes correct stakeholders and communications effectively
• Escalates to resolve complex stakeholder issues

Skills and Qualifications:

Critical
• Strong knowledge of billings and credit collections process
• Strong knowledge of Oracle R12
• Highly organized & ability to prioritize
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Excellent project management and process mapping skills
• Highly pro-active & ability to work independently
• Enthusiastic and a passion to learn and develop
• Experience working for a Global organization across multiple functions & regions
• Fluent English language skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to influence / travel internationally

Preferred
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience preferred
• Knowledge of ServiceNow or SingleView desirable
• Relevant financial qualifications desirable
