Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - GBP40k - GBP55k - Basingstoke

Senior Mechanical Designer Engineer required by a market leading niche technology company based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

The successful Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be involved in working on multiple projects in a small team environment communicating directly with customers. They will be expected to take lead and will be responsible for the design and implementation of new products.

Key experience
- 5 years minimum mechanical product development
- 3D CAD Systems, ideally Solidworks
- Testing of concept and prototype designs
- Design analysis, understanding of robustness of design through good practices
- Design for manufacturing, assembly and test

Any experience in the following areas would be advantageous for any application;
- FMEA/Risk reduction skills
- ProE, Creo
- Project planning and delivery
- Fluid/Pneumatic systems
