Our client currently has a vacancy in their accounts department.

We like to work and develop new unique products, within our core competency. As such, we work closely with Special Forces Units throughout the world; explorers who venture to the extremes and future soldier programmes.

Responsibilities

The role will consist of:

• Ensure Invoices/ credit notes are processed in a timely manner
• Being front line in Answering incoming calls and fielding messages
• Obtain invoice authorisation
• Post bank payments and receipts onto Sage
• Processing all cash and credit card expense claims, posting onto the system
• Aged creditor reporting
• Prepare and process payment run
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Maintain Supplier relationships
• Assisting with the month end process
• Assist financial controller with additional finance tasks on an ad hoc basis

This role will also involve managing dispatch as well as assisting with sales order processing.

Candidate requirements:

• Either AAT qualification, Part Qualified or qualified through experience or Similar Accounts recognised certification
• Experience of using Sage
• Be a clear and effective communicator
• Self-motivation and ability to organise own time effectively
• Prove that they must be able to work accurately to deadlines

Study support will be available.

Salary

• Depending on experience a salary of £15,000, with further experience can range up to £20,000 pa.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday

8.30am to 5pm, half an hour lunch
