We have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Construction team and support the southern offices.

Within the group, Wates Construction is a UK-wide contractor specialising in maximising value for customers in the public and private sector, with an uncompromising focus on safety and quality.

Key Accountabilities will include:
  • To secure business opportunities in accordance with the marketing plan
  • Develop relationships as required by the Strategic Customer Management plan
  • Attend seminars / functions ( this will involve early mornings and late evenings )
  • Participate in regular business development meetings to suit business unit needs
  • Keep Salesforce records up to date with accurate information
  • Preparation of regular reports as agreed with BDD
  • Prepare and deliver internal and external presentations and briefings
  • Manage and organise PR & promotional activity in accordance with the MP and SCM plan
  • Participate in feedback meetings with management team on selected business unit and key account activities

We are looking for someone who has had experience in Business Development across the Construction Industry.
