The successful candidate will be teaching both the theory and practical aspects of computer science up to Level 5. You will need to be a highly motivated team player and have the skills, drive and enthusiasm to deliver and develop courses in this area.
The appointed candidate will need to have a high level of knowledge, have relevant industry experience and be committed to developing learners' skills and technical understanding. You ideally will hold a relevant computing qualification with experience of teaching the different levels of the Edexcel BTEC IT qualifications including computer programming, networking preferably CISCO, IT technical support, website production and software design.
Previous experience of working in further education and/or with post 16 learners is desirable although not essential as training will be given. We are looking for staff with drive and a passion to succeed in a demanding but rewarding environment.
