We now have an exciting opportunity for a Proposition Consultant to join the Legacy Propositions department (part of the Consumer Division) at our Head Office in Wilmslow, Cheshire. The main purpose of this role is to support the Consumer Division to deliver better customer outcomes to policy holders of a range of closed life, pension and investment products.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with previous life and pensions experience that will support the team and help deliver key objectives for the Legacy Business.

We require candidates with strong analysis skills who are able to compare, analyse and interpret sets of numerical data and draw customer focused conclusions from a range of sources of product information.

Responsibilities:

Support the Legacy Propositions department in delivering key business objectives which include:

  • Enhancing the financial value within the back book;
  • Providing dedicated proposition management by undertaking proposition reviews;
  • Ensuring Legacy customers continue to receive good value for money and better customer outcomes.
  • Ensuring that the Legacy book products are technically compliant by operating an effective framework.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in the life and pensions industry is essential
  • Desire to work within a process focussed financial services role is essential
  • Experience within a similar previous role would be an advantage
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to make sound and reasoned decisions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in clear, concise language
  • An analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Experience of using Microsoft tools including, Outlook, MS Office, and in particular a good understanding of MS Excel and the ability to manage and interrogate large amounts of data
  • Able to identify and resolve often complex problems or queries
