Laboratory Technician, Lab Technician, cement and epoxy/polyurethane resins.
A laboratory technician is needed by our client, a leading manufacturer of cementitious construction materials and resin based materials to be based in their Harlow site. They supply to architects, engineers and surveyors, local authorities and Government bodies.
You will be working on the improvement and development of formulations based upon cement chemistry and epoxy/polyurethane resins.
There will also be elements of quality control testing of raw materials and production samples.
Their customers are typically contractors, specialist distributors and builders merchants. Their products are used in the construction industry, primarily for floor screeding, concrete repair, waterproofing, bonding and landscaping.
They are working closely with industry bodies and academic institutions to carry out research on a particular product range, to set standards for the industry.
They have an active product development/improvement programme.
Their aim is to increase turnover 15% year on year.
Required skills:
This role will suit a highly motivated candidate who ideally has previous experience in this industry or has excellent knowledge of improvement and development of formulations based upon cement and epoxy/polyurethane resins.
The package
Hours: Working hours will be 8 - 5 Monday to Friday with a one hour lunch break.
Holiday: 20 days per annum
Location: Harlow Essex
