Executive Director – Further Education (Land-based) ASKE55419

Our client is a large, specialist land-based College with centres in Yorkshire, Cumbria and Middlesbrough.

Joining them in this senior leadership role, you will be the executive lead for the development and delivery of the College’s land-based education strategy, direction and management in all relevant curriculum areas.

As a member of the College’s Executive Team you will make a significant contribution to the formulation and execution of corporate policy and to the day-to-day management of the College. You will develop detailed plans to achieve the College’s strategic aims and objectives in the field of sub-degree land-based education, overseeing their effective implementation and enhancing the student experience with a view to achieving an outstanding inspection in line with the Quality Improvement Plan.

Educated to HND, Degree or equivalent and with significant knowledge and understanding of further education funding methodologies and modern teaching methods, candidates will have experience of delivering educational programmes in the land-based sector and of successfully leading and managing large teams within a further education setting. 

Capable of facilitating cultural change in an organisation, you should have a proven ability to direct and grow curriculum in line with government and industry priorities. You will also be able to demonstrate a high level of financial awareness relevant to a land-based college setting.
