We have a number of exciting opportunities for Prison Support Assistants based at HMP Humber.
Your new role
This is an ongoing temporary position which will involve escorting contractors and visitors safely around the site, ensuring that the strict policies are adhered to to ensure safety of visitors, staff members and inmates. You will be responsible for moving the contractors around the site in their designated areas as well as supervising their tools and machinery and ensuring they leave the site when required. You will also be responsible for sitting on the main gate signing visitors in and out and checking ID. Other duties include helping out with post room, security admin, and searching vehicles then enter the prison.
You will be required to complete and pass a prison service clearance process prior to starting the position.
Hours: 7:45am - 4:45pm (Monday - Friday)
