About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Administrator to join our Enabling Functions team to work in Basingstoke
What you'll be doing
As a Cost Administrator you will:
- Process purchasing transactions including plant transactions, catalogue call-offs within delegated authority levels, material receipt/ GRN processing, resolving invoice holds, supplier query resolution, miscellaneous line entries and other sundry transactions
- Process weekly payroll transactions including hours worked, subsistence payments, daily travel, bonus etc.
- Produce cost and resource reports as required including expenditure reports, labour reports, plant returns, materials reports, miscellaneous lines reports etc.
- Ensure that site support processes are consistently and rigorously applied across projects in accordance with all relevant CSUK policies.
- Liaise with Cost Supervisors on issues with specific projects for escalation and resolution. (e.g. GRN issues, complex invoice queries, etc.)
Who we're looking for
You will:
- Have general administration experience.
- Be able to work with people at various levels both internal Balfour Beatty and external and apply and comply with the CSUK site support procedures is essential.
- Have good Numeracy & IT Skills: MS Office packages including Excel (Basic level) skills are required
- Have a working knowledge of ERP systems e.g. Oracle would be an advantage
