BQuality Business Systems Manager

Location: Exeter, Devon

Salary: Competitive (excellent basic iro 45k, bonus & benefits)

Our market leading client, based in Exeter but with an international presence, is looking for an experienced Quality Business Systems Manager to join their growing team. This is an important and exciting permanent opportunity. The individual will have significant experience in implementing and managing business systems in a complex IT environment. The function requires a thorough individual who has an analytical mind. As much of the role will focus on reviewing the work of others, good interpersonal skills are essential. A person who has a significant track record in implementing business systems would be ideally suited to this position.

Overview of Role:

You will be responsible for:

  • Promoting quality achievement and a culture of continual improvement.

  • Developing and implementing quality management strategy and plans, to support the client in the achievement of its annual business plan and longer term strategy.

  • Developing and maintaining systems to ensure the client remains compliant with all relevant national and international standards:

    • Such standards including ISO 9001:2015 (essential), NICE, NHS IG Toolkit (desirable).

    • Facilitating measurement of performance against established standards and KPI's.

  • Defining processes and procedures in conjunction with other key stakeholders to optimise the performance of the client and the ways of working for its staff.

  • Ensure that Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans are in place for all client solutions and locations; and that these plans are robustly tested on a regular basis.

Experience/Skills Required:

At least 3 years' work experience in a commercial environment in a similar role, including;

  • Exposure to ISO 9001: 2015

  • Ensuring product conformity

  • Overseeing corrective action and preventive action activities.

Experience in applying risk management methodology.

Ability to produce business documentation.

Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels

Experience of ISO auditing and procedure design

Good team player able to run and influence teams who do not have a direct report.

Desirable skills:

Two years involvement with ISO accreditation and regulation.

Risk Management application.
