My client, based in Brighton, is recruiting for a temporary Finance Assistant. This is an ongoing role whilst a permanent person is recruited.

Key tasks:

Providing financial support to team members
Raising sales invoices, credit notes and monitor the receipt of payment
Banking income and ensuring that all cash received is accurately accounted for and receipts are issues
Raising purchase orders, process invoices for authorisation and payment, managing the payment run process via BACS and dealing with any queries and organising accounts
Processing expense claims
Looking after petty cash
Monthy reconciliations
This role requires the following skills/experience:

GCSE's in Maths and English A-C
Good working knowledge of MS Office and computerised financial systems
Experience raising invoices and purchase orders
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent initiative
This role requires a DBS check.
