Summary of Responsibilities:

To work as part of the centralised admissions team within the Contact Centre you will have specific account management responsibility for certain curriculum/course areas. You will process and assess applications on a daily basis, apply agree entry criteria to offers and liaise with curriculum. The role also involves the ability to use, interrogate and present data in admissions reports whilst identifying opportunities to increase recruitment. You will also respond to inbound calls as well as making outbound calls and communications to applicants and prospective applicants as per the keep in touch strategy

Principal Duties

  1. To serve as the lead admissions account manager for specific curriculum or course areas.
  2. To process applications in a timely and professional manner
  3. To apply entry criteria to applications following the appropriate process with regard to arranging interviews and assessments and making decisions and offers
  4. To cross-train the wider team on your areas of account management
  5. To deal with telephone or other admissions enquiries promptly and efficiently.
  6. To make outbound calls as per the college keep in touch strategy.
  7. To have responsibility for the input, interrogation and manipulation of data in EBS
  8. To produce regular reports from EBS and other systems
  9. To actively monitor trends in applicants and applications across all levels.
  10. To proactively look for improvements or efficiencies in team processes, systems and procedures.
  11. To keep up to date with sector developments and regulations such as CMA and qualification changes.
  12. To work flexibly around peak periods particularly July - September.
