We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our skilled Chef brigade.

Our Chef role is a busy yet super exciting role, preparing our exceptional freshly made food every day to serve over our 6 dining areas which seats more than a 1000 customers!

So, what's the job?

Our Commis Chef role is to work with and support our back of house Dining team, managing all practical aspects of food production and service, including;
- Preparing and chopping fresh food ingredients.
- Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation.
- Basic cooking under supervision.
You will suport with production of large range of hot foods, salads, pasta dishes, patisserie and homebakes.

You'll report into our Demi chefs and Chef De Partie, so there will be lots of exposure to develop your chef skills and grow with Bents. We will support you with the necessary training and coaching for your development and future career path with us.
Previous Experience:
Previous experience in a similar food environment is desirable.

This role would be ideal for a hardworking, disciplined team player with a lot of stamina. You'll have the ability to learn on your feet and be passionate about food because we're not going to lie, cooking in a high pressure kitchen can be hard work but super rewarding!

Duration:
This role is due to start in as soon as possible and is a permanent Contract.

Working full time, 42.5 hours across Monday to Sunday, during the first 6 months the role will be reuiqred to work every Saturday and Sunday and following that will be alternate weekends! No split shifts :)
Hourly rate meets National Minimum and Living Wages.
