About the role
Our Regional South business unit have an opening for a Planner to join the build team working across a range of project types such as education, residential, commercial, MoD , and aviation with values that range from GBP25m through +GBP100m

Generally based in and around the M4 corridor, extending through to SW England and towards Oxford, this a great opportunity for a career planner that is looking for develop technically and professional and on projects that will challenge and motivate

although contracturally based at either our Langley or Basingstoke offices, the role will require extensive project team support on site

What you'll be doing

As a Planner you will:

  • Be responsible at tender stage to the Planning Lead or Bid Manager for the range of activities involved in the project planning life cycle
  • Ensure that the programme content is functionally compliant with the planning procedures and guidance.
  • Identify planning scope, major constraints and contract requirements
  • Provide support, as required to the BIM Co-ordinators to meet the project requirements or tender submission deliverables
  • Set up appropriate lean visual programme to assist the Project Team to timely deliver projects and improve productivity, performance and safety of projects



Who we're looking for
You will:

  • Have operational experience (ie site engineer/site agent) together with previous significant experience of planning services within the construction and engineering industry
  • Be proficient in the use of planning techniques and the required planning toolsets
  • Have an understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications.
  • Have an understanding of various methods of planning, programming and progress monitoring.
  • Have An understanding of risk and opportunity management with particular reference to planning programming.
