We here at Witton Recruitment are working with an exciting client, providing a long term career opportunity joining them as a marketing assistant. A market leader in their industry working alongside mainstream distributors providing high end quality products.
This role is functional in that it's about dealing with all the aspects before it even gets to anything creative but that's not to say that there aren't creative aspects! Being able to manage products/ ranges is important.

This Marketing Assistant role will include:
• Involved in all parts of traditional marketing
• Social media - manage the day to day FB inbox/ twitter
• Product literature - manage/ forecast point of sale and marketing literature. Obtain quotes etc
• PR requests - sending out of press samples
• Website - update/ upload images for product listing on TM website and product images. Help manage customer files/ data
• Stock control and forecasting product (and point of sale) via excel
• Product listing management/ control of ranges for and to trade clients
• Supplier management - day to day interaction with TM's key marketing suppliers/ agencies
• Copy proofing and able to adopt TM customer 'language' and suggest/ write copy
• Small amount of customer service
• Analytical and strategical by nature
The ideal candidate will have:
• Numerate
• Good at negotiating
• Communication skills
• Good command of English
• Works to deadlines
• Professional
• Can do attitude
• Copes with pressure - Calm and confident
