Senior Legal Cashier

Sanderson Finance working with one of the UK's largest legal services providers who are looking to appoint a Senior Legal Cashier on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of this position is to provide daily support within the legal cashiers team through maintaining office and client ledgers and account reconciliations.

Other duties include:

• Accountable for all aspects of Legal Cashier responsibilities
• Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Process and prepare accounts payable and expense payment runs)
• Prepare interest calculations for client accounts
• Assist with administrative and other ad hoc duties when required

Person Specification:

• Strong working knowledge of Solicitor Account Rules, money laundering and e-billing processes
• Previous legal cashiering experience
• Highly numerate and a proficient user of IT
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive and self-motivated attitude
