Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a Senior Manager on behalf of our client the national housing and regeneration delivery agency for England.

Our client is looking to recruit a talented professional to join a dynamic team driving the pace of new housing development.

As Senior Manager, you will have excellent technical abilities, strong communication, analytical and project management skills and enjoy working as part of an ambitious team. You will be able to think creatively and commercially to identify and implement new innovative delivery solutions.

 This post will support the delivery of the recently launched Housing Infrastructure Fund. The successful candidate will provide commercial advice in relation to the deliverability of projects seeking funding support and have experience in viability appraisals with the ability to translate aspirational delivery objectives into reality.

This will involve close team working with North West Delivery Teams, panel consultants and Other Government Departments.  You will be involved in the assessment, co-development and delivery.  It will also involve direct contact with those applicants that have applied for and/or been awarded funding.

In addition, candidates will be expected to cover the following areas:

  • Support the acquisition, de-risking, and disposal of public land assets to agreed performance targets.
  • Support the identification, development and delivery of a pipeline of sites through various government programmes.

Qualifications: Degree level qualification and/or appropriate professional qualifications/membership or relevant experience
