Location: Keynsham (between Bristol & Bath) with regular travel to other WMAT schools
Wellsway Multi Academy Trust is at an exciting stage in its development. We currently run nine schools and with more joining shortly, the Trust is moving towards its vision of being a truly inclusive provider of 4 - 19 education in East Bristol and Bath.
We are now seeking a customer-focused HR Business Partner to support our growing family of MAT schools. Reporting to the Head of HR you will deliver a professional, business-focused HR service to meet schools needs and WMAT objectives, as well as contributing to wider MAT initiatives, including policy development and delivery of key projects.
Main responsibilities will include providing advice and support on all aspects and at every stage of employee relations matters, in line with WMAT policies, employment legislation and best practice guidance.
You will also develop and deliver training sessions for managers on areas required for continuous improvement and develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with changes to legislation and best practice.
You will have worked within a similar role previously, will be part or fully CIPD qualified and have the ability to foster excellent working relationships, ensuring a high level of customer service. It is essential that you have experience of managing complex employee relations cases and managing a caseload. You will have up to date knowledge of employment law and employment practice.
You must be highly motivated, comfortable working independently and eager to ensure the HR function is effective and efficient. You will also be a strong team player who can establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
