We are currently looking to recruit a proactive and forward thinking Assistant Care Manager at Woodlands HFOP in Clayton Le Moors, to work under the direction of the Registered Care Manager.

This is a full time or part time permanent position and you will be expected to work at weekends, as part of the rota. You will have an important role within our team where you will be supervising, advising and mentoring our Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants to develop their skills and knowledge, whilst also assisting our Registered Care Manager. In return, we will make sure we provide on-going development opportunities for you and pay for your training, disclosure and barring service (DBS) application.

Here are a few things we are looking for: NVQ 2 in Direct Care, or equivalent and NVQ 3 in Promoting Independence or equivalent, can be a leader of professional practice in personcentred care and support, can lead by example and supervising, motivating and mentoring staff, excellent communication and strong people skills, build positive relationships with residents, families, staff and other professionals, maintain the highest care delivery standard and keep accurate records, protector of resident safety and rights by ensuring policies and procedures are being followed at all times, ambitious and want to learn, develop your career and be even better at what you do. This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
