My client is a leading name in the design and manufacture of large scale components used within Aerospace, defence and oil & gas markets.
Due to continued growth, there is now an opportunity for an experienced CNC Vertical Borer to join the team.
Experience Required:
• CNC Vertical Boring experience using Siemens & Fanuc controls.
• Machining diameters of up to 4 metres preferable.
• Apprentice-trained.
• Capable of proving out and editing CNC programmes.
• Ability to work and measure components to tight tolerances.
• Experienced of working on high precision safety critical components in various exotic materials
• Ability to use overhead cranes and slings.
• Experienced with Siemens & Fanuc controls.
Essential personal attributes:
• Good communication skills
• Flexible and cooperative attitude combined with a strong work ethic
• Aptitude to develop and gain new skills
• Capable of working on your own initiative as well as part of a close team.
• Ability to work shifts (days/nights shift and nights regular shift available)
