About the Junior Shipping Clerk Role:
Evergreen has been established since 1968 and has become one of the largest shipping lines in the world. Alongside Evergreen’s establishment in the shipping industry, Evergreen is also established within the airline and hotel industries.
This vacancies will be based within Evergreen Marine (UK) Ltd, responsible for the shipping side of the company. You will be tasked with meeting customer request of containers, processing the bookings and relevant documentation.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable on the phone, customer focused, and with excellent interpersonal skills.
Previous experience within shipping industry will not be necessary, as we will provide on the job training.
On the job training will include some of the following:
- Bill of Ladings
- Waybills
- Dangerous Goods
- Manifest
- Invoicing
- Port visit
Requirements as our Junior Shipping Clerk include:
- A - C in Maths and English at GCSE level
- Must have legal rights to work within UK, without sponsorship
