Full Time Dental Nurse Wanted

For long-established, independent, family-run practice in Carlisle.

Convenient city centre location.

Seeking a reliable, conscientious and motivated long-term candidate, who can work independently and as part of a team.

Clinical experience of dental nursing essential, dental nursing qualification preferred.

Experience using SOE/Exact and of inhalation sedation an advantage.

Key duties:

• Ensuring the care and welfare of patients
• Keeping the surgery, equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist or dental therapist
• Accurately complete clinical records and laboratory forms as directed
• Stock control within the surgery
• Assisting on reception
• Assisting in regulation processes such as audit
• Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice

At interview stage qualified applicants must supply:

• Current GDC certificate
• Current CRB check
• Evidence of Hep B immunity.
• Up-to-date medical emergencies and CPR training, safeguarding certificates

Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri – 8:40am-6:30pm (1 hour lunch).

Occasional Saturday morning shifts on a rota.

Hourly rate: £8-£10 per hour depending on experience & duties successful candidate will perform.
