Our client is one of the UK’s largest mailing houses, working across sectors for clients of all shapes and sizes. Over the last 20 years, they’ve been busy investing in mammoth machinery and clever gadgets (not to mention their fantastic team) to ensure that they’re seriously smooth operators and they passionately believe that there’s no better place for your direct mail anywhere.
They now have an exciting opportunity available for a Telemarketer to join the sales team to promote business growth by expanding their customer base.
Making outbound calls to potential clients in order to identify opportunities for products and services and scheduling appointments for their sales force to attend, you will use complementary technology including email, LinkedIn and the Internet in addition to the telephone to create appointment opportunities and educate potential clients on the benefits they can deliver.
Accurately entering and maintaining prospect information in the company CRM systems, you will proactively maintain a list of call-backs for potential opportunities and follow up by making subsequent calls; actively working with sales colleagues to arrange meetings and contact of specific target organisations. You must also work with the innovations team on campaigns to pre-qualify contacts, use analytics tools to review any potential prospects who have visited the website and maintain a good working knowledge of the company products and services.
With good organisational skills, an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to multi-task, candidates must be fully conversant and skilled at telemarketing / sales and have a tenacious approach to gaining sales opportunities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential and you must be resourceful, able to work to targets and have experience of working to volume call targets. Experience of using CRM systems, e.g. Salesforce would be beneficial, however, training will be provided.
