Fixed term contract for approximately 6 months
37 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Our client owns and manages 36,000 homes for rent, shared ownership and sale across the North of England, affecting more than 50,000 people’s lives and employing 1,300. 

They’re currently looking for a highly organised individual to join their Income department on a fixed term contract for approximately 6 months.  The purpose of this post is to maximise rental income to the company. 

The Income Officer will assist in the provision of a professional, customer focused rent and income service.  You’ll be available to provide advice and assistance regarding rent arrears and benefit entitlements in order to maximise tenants income and reduce financial inclusion.  Engaging and involving customers, you’ll use and promote partner agencies in order to provide the best possible service.

You’ll already have experience working with customers to deal with a broad range of income management duties.  You must have good numerical and written skills, knowledge of current housing, welfare and neighbourhood management issues, and good skills using Microsoft packages.  Candidates must also have a full UK driving licence.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check.
