This role will be responsible for the Bank's information security and data protection, and related awareness programmes to include briefing the Board, ensuring that potential security risks and governance issues are identified, managed, and remediation/treatment action plans are developed to resolve the risk or reduce the risk to an acceptable level. You will also be required to provide input to appropriate internal committees in relation to information security and data protections risks and issues.

As the data protection subject matter expert, the post holder will advise the firm on GDPR and other related regulations and the necessary steps required to successfully implement the GDPR and data protection related regulations.

As the Security Information Officer you will have previous experience of providing expert advice in relation to all aspects of a Bank's compliance with information security regulations, including event resolution, breach notifications, and continued ISO 27001 certification.

Who we are looking for:

You will have a bachelor's degree as a minimum qualification in computer science or mathematics and, ideally, a relevant professional qualification.

With a background in financial services, you will have a strong understanding of current information security and cyber threat landscapes and control frameworks, with in-depth knowledge of industry information security and data protection compliance standards.
