Are you an exceptional Physics /Mathematics graduate with either a 1st Class, 2:1 or 2:2 honours degree, from a respected university?

This large, diverse secondary school in Coventry by Ofsted are currently looking for an enthusiastic physics graduate to join their school as a Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant from October / November 2017.

The school is in a busy part of Coventry and is easily accessible via an excellent local bus service. Additionally there is secure on-site parking for those that drive. The school has a rich and diverse mix of pupils giving any prospective, future teacher the opportunity to develop class room skills that will stand them in excellent stead on the road to becoming a qualified teacher.

My client is a high achieving school that demands the best from both its pupils and teaching staff. Your excellent knowledge across the sciences and in particular physics will be used to good advantage supporting a small number of pupils in the subject. As well as your degree speciality you should have a good knowledge of general science in order to offer the best possible support to this one pupil.

You will be well supported in your role as a Physics Teaching Assistant by the head of the faculty and other teaching staff. This will give you the opportunity to gain invaluable classroom experience and learn best practice prior to studying to be a teacher, whichever route you take.
