THE COMPANY: Our client is a well-established and reputable Shoe Manufacturer that has been established for 130 years. They now export to more than 50 countries and have become a favourite with discerning customers worldwide.
THE ROLE: Due to continued success, we are currently looking for a Factory Planner to join their existing team in Kettering, Northamptonshire. This is a key role within the business, working closely with various departments including production both in the UK and India, sales, warehouse and customer services. You will be responsible for covering all aspects of factory planning and stock control, producing weekly planning schedules and monitoring progress.
THE CANDIDATE: As a Factory Planner you will be a well-organised individual capable of a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Experience/ Characteristics for the Factory Planner position based in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
Essential
Highly organised individual able to work under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines
Must live within a commutable distance to Kettering, Northamptonshire or willing to relocate.
Desirable
Experience of Goodyear welted footwear manufacturing - but not essential as full training will be given
Experience as a planner
