About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Vetting & On-Boarding Coordinator to join our Major Projects team to work in Avonmouth.

What you'll be doing

As a Vetting & On-Boarding Coordinator, you will:

  • Manage the WIMS (Workforce Information Management System) system and collecting and storing workforce data on the system
  • Manage the onboarding of new staff onto the project, proactively managing all aspects of the vetting and onboarding process to enable staff to commence work as quickly as possible
  • Ensure all staff proposed to join the project have had their competencies assessed and verified in line with the SQEP (Suitably Qualified Experienced Person) procedure and approving individuals for appointment to the project
  • Collate and check information required for the HPC pre-employment screening and submitting applications via the WIMS system for approval
  • Book employees onto the HPC induction



Who we're looking for
You will:

  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Be an experienced administrator
  • Be IT literate
  • Have solid experience in database management
  • Have solid experience in the use of Excel
