We are currently recruiting for an Employability Guidance Officer to join our Helpzone department here at South Devon College. You will be required to work as part of a team to provide outstanding service for all; offering a 'one-stop' approach to careers education, information, advice and guidance for all ages of applicants and learners. A priority in this role will be to support the development of the employability skills of learners. You will be required to maximise positive destinations for learners through CEIAG, develop work experience preparation, and assist with part time work promotion through the College's Job Shop.  The role will include some very occasional evening work.

The successful candidate will need to hold a Level 3 Qualification and GCSE English and Maths qualifications minimum grade C (or equivalent). Experience of delivering information and experience working within Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) services is essential for this role. Also, you will need to have experience of using computer packages to develop and maintain records.
