Working within our busy office in Cardiff, you`ll be given full responsibility to handle a portfolio of the more complex and specialist motor claims we handle. Naturally, you`ll already know that Experienced Motor Claims Specialist require exceptional customer service ethics and specific attention to detail, whilst having a clear understanding of motor claims damage and third party involvement.

Claims can range from Liability through to Personal Injury and Total Loss, so it`s imperative you`ll be able to gain as much detail as possible whilst appreciating the position of our valued customers and clients alike and ensure all compliance and regulatory frameworks are adhered to. You`ll also work with colleagues to ensure the fraud screening process is effective and all necessary escalation steps are taken as and when required.

Your experience within this field may also have lead to knowledge within Motor Fleet account management, credit hire and litigation, which will be a distinct advantage.

In all cases, we`d reward your skills and experience by furthering your academic qualifications in sponsoring your Insurance and Loss Adjusting exams. Additionally, you`ll receive full training and a warm, friendly working environment and the potential to progress within the business.

You will have/will be:

  • Advance or specialist handling experience within the Motor Claims arena
  • The ability to deal with Clients, Brokers and Policyholders
  • The ability to deal handle motor claims ranging from first notification to settlement
  • A positive and pro-active attitude to customer service
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • IT literacy
