Gardners are a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Holywell, Flintshire.
We have a very extensive client base which includes SME’s, HNWIs and entrepreneurial owner managed businesses. Due to further expansion we are pleased to announce we are looking to recruit the following role.
This role would suit a newly qualified ACA or ACCA who is looking to take the next step in their career. This role will be primarily managing a small portfolio of clients and projects supporting the Accounts Managers.
The work will be varied and challenging at appropriate levels and the main duties will include:
- Prepare and review statutory accounts
- Prepare and review of monthly a management accounts
- Statutory audit work
- Review quarterly VAT returns
- Regular client liaison to offer general business advice
A working knowledge of Xero, Kashflow, Sage, Excel and Iris is desirable. The ability to meet deadlines is essential.
You will have gained your accounting experience working in Practice and be comfortable to supervise more junior team members and liaise directly with clients and senior members of the management team.
Good client communication skills are required together with strong organisational skills and a proven track record of achieving targets and workflow deadlines.
