We now have an opportunity for a methodical and well-organised Finance Assistant to join our team in Manchester and provide support to the Treasury and Project Accountant in the day to day running of the finance team.

Your main responsibilities will include; the daily management of the loan book and deeds register, entering daily bank movements to the cash flow forecast, the preparation of month end journals and account reconciliations. Additionally you will assist with management accounts production including the preparation of variance analysis as well as the verification of figures as directed by the Management Accountant.

The ideal candidate will hold, or be currently working towards, an accounting qualification such as AAT and will have proven experience in a financial processing environment. With strong communication and interpersonal skills you will promote and maintain a positive “can do” attitude in all aspects of the post. 

Any experience in cash flow preparation, accruals, prepayments and account reconciliations would be desirable.
