Vice President - Distributed Energy/Energy Efficiency (Green Investmen

We are looking to hire a Vice President with experience of working on distributed energy and / or energy efficiency projects to join the Green Investment Group (GIG)

The key purpose of the role is to be the Green Investment Group's (GIG) technical expert in the development and design of distributed energy and energy efficiency projects. You will take a lead role on all technical aspects of project development, including assessing investment opportunities on client sites, estimating potential savings and proposing the adoption of key technologies. You will also provide input and operational support to the portfolio management team.

You will have a commercial and entrepreneurial mind-set and experience of complex projects through development, construction and operations. It is essential that you have experience of working on distributed energy and / or energy efficiency projects from an engineering position with past experience in the appraisal of distributed energy technologies, including assimilating knowledge of new technologies. You will have an understanding of M&V protocols and delivery of technical standards to support protocols. You will also have experience in commercial and technical risk management and experience of working in or with ESCOs or equivalent
