Drug and Alcohol Practitioner - HMP Wandsworth, London - £23,500 per Annum

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Substance Misuse professional to join their service at HMP Wandsworth.

The Role:

Working in a busy, successful team of Drug and Alcohol Practitioners and Health Professionals you will be supporting offenders with addiction issues and complex needs, including those serving long term sentences.

You will manage a caseload of clients, run workshops, both CBT and 12-Step based, and refer to their partner organisations ensuring that the client’s needs are fully met.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social or equivalent, experience and knowledge of supporting clients with substance misuse issues, a good understanding of recovery and the criminal justice system.
