Trainee Accountant – Apprenticeship – Full Training Provided BLUT55328

They now have an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join them to provide support and assistance with regards to the financial / management accounts for all companies within the Group as and when required.

This is an apprenticeship role where you will learn a wide range of duties relating to purchase ledger, financial / management accounts and banking and will attend college one day a week to gain an AAT qualification.

Coding and resolving account queries in relation to nominal invoices, you will carry out monthly analysis of Committed Costs information and of unrecovered in-house Design costs and reconcile inter-company recharge control accounts for all Group companies; submitting sales invoice requests to the Sales & Credit Team as necessary. 

You must also manage and process the monthly payroll for hourly paid operatives, oversee and manage the Group Fuel Card facility and maintain and reconcile the central Petty Cash facility.

Full training will be provided for all duties required for the role, however, they do ask that candidates have a friendly personality with great communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.  With a minimum of 4 GCSE passes at grade C or above (including English and Mathematics) together with an interest and commitment to a career in Accountancy, you must be reliable, professional and hardworking and be capable of meeting a number of conflicting deadlines under pressure.
