Graduate SEN Learning Mentor - Colchester
Do you have a passion for supporting children with Special Education Needs/SEN?
Would you welcome the chance to work in a mainstream Primary School who have a superb reputation for supporting and developing students with SEN requirements?
Are you looking for a long-term role where you can really feel a valued member of the team?
This forward thinking and inclusive primary school based in Colchester are looking to recruit a Graduate Learning Mentor to join their SEN team. You will work alongside the school SENCO and other SEN staff to support pupils at the school who have a range of SEN requirements.
This role is as much about helping improve children's social and emotional development as it is their academic skills.

*** Previous experience supporting SEN pupils is highly desirable
This Graduate SEN Learning Mentor role can be challenging at times but equally extremely rewarding! It is your chance to make a real difference to students who really need it the most. Our partner school has a large number of pupils who have ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia so graduates who have previous academic knowledge and practical experience of supporting pupils with these SEN requirements would be ideal for this role.
