This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of our new integrated teams, within Operational Children's Services.
LIVE??? WORK ???CARE
The support and safeguarding service work with some of our most vulnerable children in Wiltshire, including children in need, children in need of protection, children who are the subject of family proceedings and a proportion of our looked after children. We are building on the considerable progress already made across our services helping to re-define young futures by providing support at the earliest opportunity by working together with our partners in a coherent and structured way. Families and children will receive a high quality, efficient and effective social work service which results in them being more resilient and will say that you made a positive difference to their lives.
About the role
As an experienced social worker delivering high-quality care, you'll make sure the needs of vulnerable children remain your highest priority. With us, you'll be able to oversee the full lifecycle of a case - carrying out assessments, planning and delivery activity and reviewing outcomes.
About you
This is a truly supportive environment, where you'll be able to work with autonomy while knowing that you have the backing of a team. So, alongside your social work qualification and experience, you'll need to share our commitment to teamwork and our dedication to the young people in the county.
You must be qualified to a DipSW level or equivalent and be registered as a social worker with HCPC registration.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, and must not have more than four penalty points.
*A 10% market supplement payment is applicable to experienced and senior social workers in the Families and children support and safeguarding and MASH teams. This market supplement payment recognises the market pay rate for roles in this area of children's services. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, as an employee you will be expected to share this commitment.
