Position: L&D Business Partner (Learning & Development Business Partner)
Location: London
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum

Overall purpose of the job:
To help develop the Learning and Development function into a world-class function
To design, develop and deliver in house training (Orientation, Inductions, Essential Skills Training)
To coordinate external training (Specific Technical Training as required)
To act as a ‘go-to’ person for the L&D team
L&D Business Partner for the Engineering Team

Key responsibilities for this job:
Supporting the organisation and delivery of the Orientation, Inductions, Essential Skills Training
Support the business by helping to manage vendor / partner certifications
Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
Provide training assistance and guidance to line managers to overcome training challenges
Building and maintaining relationships with training providers
Recording all training data from attendance and evaluation forms
To ensure employee certifications are up to date and relevant to the skill needs of the role
To carry out Training Needs Analysis in order to continually upskill our employee group
Evaluate training outcomes and ensure solutions have met business needs
Preparation of reports and highlighting trends/making recommendations
Maintain own knowledge and understanding of learning sector trends and developments
Overall monitoring of the L&D inbox to ensure all queries are managed
Updating training process maps and policies, as appropriate
Preparation of training collateral
Making recommendations for improvement of training, training materials and procedures

Knowledge and experience required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexible approach to work with the ability to work effectively under pressure
Ability to work in a team with little supervision using own initiative
Responsible and willing to take ownership
Positive and professional attitude
Previous demonstrable experience as L&D BP or Consultant
Demonstrable experience of working to an Instructional Design methodology (such as ADDIE / SAM / Rapid Prototyping)
Demonstrable experience in running face to face workshops
Demonstrable experience of building blended learning initiatives.
Able to multitask and prioritise workload
Exceptional organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience using MS office suite.
Continuous improvement mind-set

Non-negotiable skills:
Previous demonstrable experience as L&D BP or Consultant
Exposure to training and L&ED in technical sectors
Ability to communicate effectively on all levels and adapt communication styles to different people
Culture fit wise - need an adaptable, and sociable person. Will be joining a team of four with no direct reports.
