Factory Operatives - Attleborough - £7.70 - £9.9.28 per hour dependent on department - Permanent full time
Company brief
Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of office furniture. Established since 1974, they are a family Company who pride themselves on their quality of product and commitment to client service.
They are currently seeking Factory Operatives for both their Assembly line and Machine Room.
Factory Operatives - Assembly
You will work with hand and automated tools in the inspection, assembly and packaging of office furniture. It is essential that you are a team player as strict rotation and adherence to health and safety procedures are enforced within your daily duties. No experience is necessary as there is a robust training programme with the department.
Hours of work are 08.00 am to 16.30 pm Monday to Friday, but they will consider part time applicants working 09.30 am to 15.00 pm. Rates of pay currently start at £7.70 per hour.
Factory Operatives – Machine Room
Working as part of a small team you will be manufacturing bespoke and production panels to the quality standards in the required lead time. You will be required to set and operate a range of woodworking machinery in a targeted production environment and therefore, experience of woodworking, CNC & beam saws would be an advantage. However, this is not essential as full training will be provided to anyone with mechanical skills. The role also includes quality inspection duties on produced parts and you should be able to read and interpret drawings and specification sheets.
Hours of work in the Machine Room are 08:00 am to 16:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Rates of pay start at £8.13 per hour, up to £9.28 per hour, dependent upon experience.
For either role you should be able to communicate well with team members, and conform to safe working practises including team rotations. Experience of working in a factory environment would be advantageous.

These permanent positions are based in their factory just outside of Attleborough, Norfolk (NR17 1QD).
