Our Client is a group of experienced companies that deliver services for property investment, development and management, within the supported living sector. They work with local authorities and care providers who have identified a requirement for supported living accommodation. The purpose of this is to allow adults with learning or physical disabilities to live more independently within the community.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with a main trade in plumbing to join them where you will perform minor repairs to properties. This is a home based position where you will cover the works in the southern region area, however the role will require to work away dependant on the works required. The role will require you to occasionally travel up north as well.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will complete planned preventative maintenance works as well as quoted works within the agreed budget. Liaising with suppliers for prices on materials, you will provide Help Desk staff with the costs, and will collect materials ordered for your jobs. You are expected to complete repairs which will consist of general plumbing, joinery, painting, plastering and other various minor works.

They are looking for someone whose main trade is a plumber, and who also has experience in carrying out minor joinery works and PPM works. A clean drivers’ license is essential as is having a flexible approach.
