Communications Officer

 JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for:-

Reporting directly to the Managing Director

You should be a creative and strategic campaign planner and implementer and equally comfortable working as part of a team or individually.

You will be tasked with maintaining and increasing the profile of the company and our market leading brands via trade and consumer press including print and online.

The ideal candidate will possess first class presentation, communication and creative copywriting skills.  It is essential that you have experience and a record of achievement gained in the PR field, together with IT knowledge, e.g. must be able to competently use the following software packages; Word, Excel and Powerpoint.  Basic skills of Photoshop or InDesign are ideal.  The ability to work to deadlines in pressured situations is also a necessity.  PR experience and/or qualifications are an advantage.

The role will involve face to face meetings with press as well as Brand owners therefore the candidate will need to feel comfortable and confident at organising and holding meetings on a regular basis.

A driving licence is essential – you will be expected to attend exhibitions and meetings away from the office base which will in turn involve spending a small amount of time away from home.
