An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Designer to join our team based in Nottingham. You will be on a full time permanent basis and will be offered a competitive salary of £21,500 - £24,000 dependant on experience.
About the role
The University of Nottingham Students’ Union Marketing department have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Designer in our fast paced marketing team.
As Digital Designer at the SU your main responsibility will be the creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital design work. This can be anything from responsive sites, emails to banners, mobile/tablet apps and microsites. It involves working closely with our Creatives and Front End Web Developer.
You will be responsible for creating an attractive and engaging customer experience across all of the digital channels including desktop, mobile, app, editorial and social media. A very hands-on role, the Digital Designer will be involved in the full 360 design process including video, photoshoots and ownership of art direction.
Skills needed for the role
With an opportunity to work on a lot of exciting project work, we are looking to recruit a talented, enthusiastic individual with proven experience as a mid-weight Digital Designer who will work as a key part of our creative team to produce tons and tons of engaging marketing and communication material.
Whether you are brainstorming concepts, or converting detailed information into branded infographics, you will use your natural enthusiasm to bring ideas to life. You’ll need to demonstrate HTML/CSS skills, exceptional knowledge of adobe creative suite including after effects, photography, graphics, animation, video as well as the ability to prepare press ready artwork - a meticulous attention to detail is absolutely essential.
With a Degree level qualification in Graphic Design and proven experience working on brand with a strong focus on digital media your portfolio must be awesome.
