AUTOCLAVE ENGINEER
This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise and further enhance your engineering and validation skills and develop your expertise within a world leading pharmaceutical process support company.
Working within our Engineering group, you will be based at new facility in Birmingham and at client facilities within the healthcare, medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. There will be an initial period of training provided at our UK head office in Barnard Castle.
There will be the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects, primarily in the field of autoclave service and maintenance, service and maintenance of purified water systems, thermal mapping of sterilisation systems and controlled environments, developing and expanding your own experience and expertise into new and innovative pharmaceutical technologies.
The ROLE
Working across our client base within Ireland and the UK, the successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding the presence of Honeyman Group within Southern England. Supported by our team located at our Head Office, the Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Director in establishing and growing an operational centre in Birmingham. Additional Engineers will be sought to join the Birmingham office and we are keen to find a candidate wiling to grow and expand their position as our business increases. Excellent career prospects!
As a service engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our clients as part of scheduled service and maintenance as well as respond to break downs as and when required. This is primarily on Autoclaves, Pure Steam Generators, WFI Stills and Water systems.
Additionally, project based work may see installation of new systems or changes to existing systems.
You will be responsible for developing and training of technicians as well as supporting the commercial division with winning new business within the Southern region

PERSON SPECIFICATION
It is essential for all applicants to possess excellent interpersonal, leadership and managerial skills. You must be commercially aware and capable of working well under pressure within a team orientated environment.
Relevant technical expertise (i.e Ideally maintenance of Autoclaves) is of particular importance, as are good IT and analytical skills.
Demonstrated background of working within a GMP environment – highly regulated manufacturing industry required such as medical, food, pharmaceutical
Degree educated would be beneficial but is not essential
