Semi Senior Accountant 6 Months Fixed Term

A role has arisen working as a Senior/Semi Senior Accountant for a Practice accountancy firm in the Blackpool area running a portfolio of 100-130 clients (workload dependant on experience and qualification level).

The Client is an independent firm based in Blackpool who specifically work with small limited companies.

The role will cover a 6 month fixed term period covering maternity leave.
Due to the period of the role you will not have to complete any annual accounts, however, you will be required to work through invoices for all expenses, manage VAT and process PAYE.

Your duties within the role will include:
-Processing VAT returns
-Profit and Loss summaries
-Processing and reporting Monthly Finances.

The company is looking for, ideally, a candidate with previous in practice experience, but due to the demand for this role this experience is not essential.
The Ideal candidate will be:
-Qualified to a minimum level 3 AAT
-An understanding of working with small Limited companies
-Have experience and understanding of VAT returns and profit and loss.

Although this is a fixed term position you are open to opportunities within the company should they arise during your employment.

The Salary for this role is ranging between £18,000 and £23,000 (dependant on qualifications and experience
