Job Title: Telesales Manager

Reporting To: National Telesales & Direct Sales Manager

Salary: £29,259.71 (OTE £33-34k)

Purpose of Position

To lead, coach, motivate and inspire the team to achieve the targets and goals set for them.

Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility

  • First line of escalation for the Telesales Team
  • Assist with the recruitment of Telesales Executives 
  • Identify and offer coaching & support for additional or ongoing training requirements
  • Champion all new products and services and ensure the team have sufficient training
  • Review and manage performance for each individual and take the necessary action
  • Oversee NVM resource and ensure call stats are provided on a daily basis
  • Ensure the individual’s are achieving the required call times
  • Set structured call scripts and fact finding  
  • Responsible for the one-one monthly reviews of the Telesales team, including coaching 
  • Monitor and police Salesforce to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Responsible for holding disciplinary hearings and dealing with any HR issues including absence management 
  • Manage the incoming sales lead process ensuring the team achieve the SLA
  • Update and report on the teams performance providing stats as and when they are required 
  • Complete visual boards and update the slides for the plasma screens
  • Provide feedback on lead campaigns
  • Implements and co-ordinate new starter inductions and probation sign-off
  • Update TSE / FSE alignment
  • Ensure TSE’s have sufficient leads to work on

Key Measures of Performance

  • All TSE’s on target (% of apt & quote ratio)
  • Meet the targets set for Telesales Involvement
  • Achievement of call times and call schedules

We are looking for self-motivated individuals, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and consistently achieve targets. Previous cold calling experience and computer literacy is essential whilst any knowledge of Salesforce would be beneficial.
