About the Role

Christmas is our busiest time of year so we always need extra people to help with the additional letters and parcels. As a Mail centre worker, you'll work in one of our sorting centres helping to ensure the mail gets to where it needs to be. This will involve unloading mail from vans, moving it around in trolleys and sorting it manually. It's a fast paced environment with some of our mail centres, processing over a million items in a single shift.

About You

You'll need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work. You'll play a valuable part in our process so it's essential you're able to move seamlessly between one role and another in order keep the mail moving. You'll be punctual, detail focused and comfortable standing for long periods at a time. And you'll be able to remain calm during a particularly busy period. It's a welcoming environment where you can make a real impact in the successful delivery of mail across the UK.
