Design Consultant / Estimator

Tecna UK are recruiting for a Design consultant / Estimator.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:

•Use Sketch Up to design and draw modular framework visuals.
•Presenting designs and quotations
•Answer incoming sales calls, qualify them and meet the clients requirements
•Guide the client through the sales process
•Design and quote to customers’ requirements whilst providing them with education on T3’s products
•Correctly interpret the customers brief and capture key design elements.
•Listen and capture customer requirements to ensure design meets or exceeds expectations.
•Follow up on sales leads to close customers to ensure all potential sales are captured
•Itemise and Quote Jobs on a excel price list
•File all work in folders
•Meeting and discussing with clients to establish their technical requirements for events
•Ordering parts and organising delivery schedules
•Support the Sales team with selling T3 modular display system to the event industry amongst others.
•Being part of a team to successfully hit monthly targets

KEY SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS:

•Excellent IT skills; Excel, Word and Sketch Up is advantageous

•Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
•Excellent communication and people skills
•We are looking for a confident person who is happy to pick up the phone and speak to new people daily
•Capable of multitasking both immediate and long term projects
•Excellent administration and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
•Professional attitude and appearance
•Ideally you need to have good spacial awareness. Understanding exhibition floor plans and the specific products you’re using.
•It’s important that you maintain high standards at all times and form relationships with your clients. We are a source of advice to them as well as helping to solve problems on a daily basis. You will need to meet client’s expectations whilst being a main point of contact within the company. Your aim will be to develop all the accounts that you are handling.
•You will have to work within budgets and be able to fully understand what you’re quoting

This is a challenging role, whether you are starting your career in project management or looking to expand on a successful career, the most important criteria is to be hands on and keen to progress. We are recruiting both an experienced and trainee role but good IT skills and at least a Grade C in GCSE Maths are required.

Salary: £17k - £28k + Bonus, Pension, Healthcare
